Moorish arches and carved stucco in the courtyard of a palace in southern Spain
Andalusia · Southern Spain · Morocco

The long way round is the whole point.

Private and small-group journeys through Moorish Spain and Morocco, built one itinerary at a time by the people who live there.

Selected journeys

Six routes we would take ourselves

Every one of these runs privately, at your pace, with a guide who knows the ground. They are starting points — most guests change something.

All 6 itineraries

Where we work

Four regions, one team

From the Guadalquivir valley to the Rif mountains and the dunes beyond — planned end to end, without handing you over to anyone.

Spain to Morocco, overland

The Strait of Gibraltar crossing — Seville and Ronda to Tangier, Chefchaouen and the Sahara, on one itinerary

How we work

Not an aggregator

We are a small independent operator. That is a limitation and it is also the entire proposition.

  1. 01

    We are on the ground

Offices in Seville and Tangier, our own vehicles, and guides we have worked with for years. When something changes mid-trip, the person fixing it is fifteen minutes away — not in a call centre.

  2. 02

    We cross the strait properly

Spain and Morocco in one journey, joined by a sixty-minute ferry rather than a connecting flight. Two countries, one team, one itinerary, no handover to a local partner you have never met.

  3. 03

    We plan around you

No fixed departure boards, no coaches, no schedule that has to be kept. If the light over the Alhambra is worth another hour, you take another hour.

From guests

What people say afterwards

The transition from the Strait of Gibraltar down through the High Atlas to the Erg Chebbi dunes was the journey of a lifetime. Our driver-guide Youssef felt like family within hours. Sleeping under the Sahara sky in a tent with a private hot shower exceeded all our expectations!

Sahara Desert Expedition (7 Days), November 2025

Andalucia Tours provided unmatched access in Seville and Granada. Skipping the lines at the Alhambra with our private art historian made every arch and garden come alive. The small group dynamic of just 8 guests was intimate and effortless.

David Steinberg · New York, USA
Moorish Heritage & White Villages of Andalusia, October 2025

We hopped on the Tarifa ferry on a Friday and by lunchtime were sipping mint tea in Tangier. The 4-day private tour with Andalucia Tours was seamless from start to finish. Chefchaouen without the crowds was pure magic.
